Is going from £150k per week to £200k per week going to make it worthwhile? Greedy cunt. I thought Terry was to Chelsea what Carra is to us.

Anyway this is good news if he goes as Chelsea will be weaker too

I can't comprehend why someone who is stinking rich needs to be a bit more stinking rich?

I can't shake the feeling that taking the cash might not make him even more "Mr Chelsea" than his is now.

I honestly dont think Terry is half as good as he used to be. He's had a few nasty injuries and they've started to takes its toll on him this last season or two.
He's never got the form back of Mourinho's first season at Chelsea when he was without doubt one of the top centre backs in Europe, consistently a rock in Chelsea's defence.
I think he's lost a bit of fight in his game too, whether he's become disillusioned with life at Chelsea in terms of all the chopping and changing in terms of managers, i don't know but he's certainly not the player he once was. Even without the massive temptation of the money, it wouldn't surprise me if he is seeking a new challenge.

Just got a bit of inside info from a Manc. Basically, the doctor who does all the medicals for Man City and the cricket team (I'm assuming that's Lancashire) is scheduled to do a medical for someone called John Terry today or tomorrow. Scheduled doesn't necessarily mean he will turn up to it though. Either way, this manc has just put a fair bit of money on Terry signing for city and he says this is a reputable source

My understanding is if Terry wants to go he can leave and as I hate this 'my mates in the know bollocks' I'll explain my tenuous info........

John Terry was due to play in, along with his brother Paul and my mate in Terry Skiverton's testimonial game a couple of weeks ago, he was down around Yeovil on the Thurs before the game but got the phone call about the City bid and went off to see Abramovich, he then phoned to apologise about pulling out of the game but said in that conversation that if he asked to leave they would let him go.

Would he leave to a team that wasn't even it Europe?
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How come Hughes can be all over the media talking about another clubs player who he admits he's not been given permission to speak to, Terry needs a new challenge says Hughes, he's at a stage in his career after being at one club that means he needs something different...Says Hughes.

How come certain managers can get away with this while others get slated for being disrespectful and unsettling players.
