nice to see nothing changes!
Preston boss Paul Simpson has confirmed that striker Neil Mellor must see a specialist to determine the severity of a knee injury picked up playing for the reserves.
Mellor has yet to make his debut for North End after joining from Liverpool in the summer and hurt his right knee in a behind-closed-doors game against Bolton as looked to build up his match fitness.
Simpson claims Mellor will miss the coming games against Sunderland and Ipswich this week, but says the problem is not related to the long-term knee injury he suffered while at Liverpool.
He said on the club's website: "He'll see a specialist on Friday afternoon and he's got a problem with his right knee.
"He won't be available for Saturday and Tuesday but we'll see after that."
