And yet again the media fawn over him as though he's the font of all knowledge.

Were it Rafa or even Wenger who were to come out with such stuff about other clubs they'd be crucified by the media. Witness the media reaction to Rafa's 'Fact' speech last season.

Obviously the big spending Arabs have rattled Damento

if those quotes werent attributed to our nemesis we would be lapping it up.

city have muscled in a couple of our targets this summer simply by paying them twice as much in wages. they are like an over agressive version of the old free spending chelsea

if it was rafa saying these things we would be laughing our knob off.

and won 3 league titles on the trot, reached 2 cl finals in a row

why do people keep writing united off on here , keep calling their players **** and overpriced yet in the last 3 seasons they have wiped the floor with everyone else in terms of success.

i love how everyone kept sayin rafa was cracking up last season, the reality was that he was up there fighting for the league, he wasnt cracking up nor was ferguson - when youre at the top there is extra focus to whatever you say

if you win as much as ginsoak you can talk even more rubbish than others, in this case hes absolutely spot on though.

i have a feeling city and madrid will flop spectacularly this summer, and it will be the prudent teams in the transfer market dominating europe again, us, chelsea and the mancs.

Can see ibrahimovic ****ing things up at barca. what a complete joke that deal was by the way, 50m aswell as etoo for that zlatan fraud. but then again guardiola won everything so there wont be too many having a leg to stand on when arguing against him

I just don't want us to fall into hands of mega rich billionaires like the ones they have at City and Madrid in hindsight. This is killing the sport and is getting ridiculous.

As for Ferguson, he may be a despicable character, he's earned the right to talk ****e. He's just playing games and riling people up, why would we fall for it? But he's still right, City are a small club.

Nah. That's not the point. The point is his bare-faced hypocrisy in labelling City a small club. He's an absolute ****house.

He may be an hypocrite Shaggy but he probably knows that and doesn't give a ****. With the amount of success he's earned there, he's a demi god.

thats what i meant in the other post, when you win stuff you can talk as much **** as you want

though looking at it objectively, everton are a far bigger club than city

this hypocrisy is something he made for himself, im not sure rafa even meant to call everton a small club, as far as i remember he was complaining about evertons approach in one particular game

for him to come out and slate rafa for something that was a misunderstanding was just odd in itself

i have a bizarre grudging respect for him in all honesty and ive been slated for it by other reds before but i honestly think a lot of people underestimate his impact not just as a manager,

cant wait for when he retires, because that will be the biggest challenge they have ever faced and the one man who gets them up for challenges wont be there anymore so i cant see anything but a struggle for a while.

his influence over so many things, not just on the pitch will evaporate.

we have a good chance of winning the league while hes here, but we and chelsea would definitely have it easier without a ferguson team around.

City are not a small club though.

And yeah you're right, Rafa never said Everton were a small club. He said "When you play against the smaller teams at Anfield you know the game will be narrow and compact and at times we were a little bit nervous".

Ferguson has outright said City are a small club, which patently they are not. Small clubs don't get gates of over 30,000 in the 3rd tier.

Shame that no journalist has the balls to bring this up though. There are so many examples of the cunts hypocrisy but he just gets away with it. Hate him with a passion.

It would be better if Rafa can knock him 'off his ****ing perch' too though.

What do you mean by 'big club' though? City haven't won anything for years. They may have a good supporter base but I don't think it extends to outside Manchester, compared to their neighbours and us for example.

It's just a game of football in the end mate. Ferguson has a big personality and I bet not a lot of people could argue with him even if he's spilling ****e. He'll eat them.

Doesn't matter what he says, as I always say in here. Why would we lose sleep?

too much is made of what the people at the top of the game come out with, who can argue against men like rafa, mourinho and ginsoak, look at their cv's.

its when no marks like hughes, allardyce, pulis etc come out and talk **** i get riled.
