Johnson has actually gone up in my onion now, would have had him down for a filthy lager drinker like Lee

They only sell it in halves on Bier in Lark Lane.

I had some in Bruges last year, sat in the sun in the main square. Got up after 3 of them and my legs nearly gave way from under me, nearly fell on top of my kid!

            Duvel ffs.

So then, what next for Mr Johnson?
Duvel's ****ing lovely Lee. It's only about 8%, as long as you don't take the piss with it then it hits the spot nice and quickly

Only 8% that's almost as strong as a can of carlsberg special brew.

8% is still only 2/3rds the alcohol in most wines. You get wine by the 250ml glass as normal these days and I think Duvel is a 300ml bottle. 3 units of wine versus 2.4 units in a Duvel

Despite struggling with a drink problem for years, I never tried Special Brew, Tennents Super or Absynth

There are loads of good continental beers at those strengths. The UK is largely rubbish at it (although Brewdog do some decent ones). Had a lovely Danish beer called 'The Talented Mr. Orangutan' t'other day. I think that was 8.5% but was stoutish and had a lovely toffee flavour.

That sounds lovely. The only problem I have with stout is it takes me about an hour to finish one

Yes Pablo , but not as well as you and lee. You both have a drink problem and should get some help.

Came in a half (I think could have been a 2/3) which helps keep you in line with more Lee-ish drinkers.

Sure, sure Colin. I bet you'd still serve us both though
