Bale and Lennon came from the Championship. As did Adam Johnson. His form is actually IMO better than Johnson's was when he was playing in the Championship. His shooting and the power he generates in his shots is amazing.

We shouldn't have sold him, should have just kept loaning him out until he was ready. It was clear he was going to be a good player, one whom we could either have made a big profit on or given a shot in the squad.

Not sure he's good enough to warrant a purchase, would depend on the fee. Would be great to have another scouser in the first team.

I usually think that we've been proved right when getting rid of the youth players (Anderson, Newby, Whitbread, Raven, Potter, Pongolle, Mellor, El Zhar, Nemeth - none have done anything since), and The Championship is obviously weaker than the PL, but I'd take a punt and bring him back. Why not?
