    Fergie after Villa & Silva

    Manchester United are about to tell Valencia to name their price for midfielder David Silva.

    And United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will enquire about Silva and striker David Villa when Valencia arrive at Old Trafford for Wednesday's friendly.

    That would put the boot in.

    "If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

    I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

            A lot depends on whether Valencia get the cash injection they need. Apparently they will know for definite on the 8th of August. Anyway I can't see Villa going to OT, Silva a slim chance.

                Really? You think so? Why? DISCUSS.

                On Villa: I wouldnt be so certain about him leaving Spain ever, I think he would leave but only for a couple of clubs, us being one of them. Still I cant see it happening, I personally think Valencia would be looking for £50m+ for him and United won't pay that.

                  If they got either of them I'd cry. Can't see it happening though

                  It's a shame they've both said they're staying, really thought we were getting Silva

                      Iv got the sneaky feeling that Fergie has one more trick up his sleave in the transfer market. Don't know who he is going to sign, but it will be a big signing.

                      It is so typical Fergie to say 'there will be no more transfers this sumer', which he stated 3 weeks ago. And then just pull a signing out of the bag, iv seen it so many times!
