    DIC Close to Newcastle Deal

Please try not to laugh at the author

Sources close to Empire of the Kop have revealed that Newcastle will strike a deal with Middle-East based consortium DIC within the next three days.
The current owner of the Tyneside club Mike Ashley has been looking for a buyer for the Championship club for a number of months and our sources suggest Mike has agreed a cut price deal with the UAE investors for the football club.
This closes yet another door in the face of Liverpool supporters who would like to see American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett bought out after a turbulent spell in charge of the Merseyside club. DIC were looked upon by reds fans as one of the only hopes of the club being taken over and money being invested.

I can only see them being sold for £70m maximum. They are a complete shambles on and off the pitch that it will take whoever buys them, much more than that to improve things.
