    ESPN launched tonight

Do ex-Setanta subscribers have to subscribe to this, or have they taken on Setanta's old customer base? Apparently it's launched tonight.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's free on Virgin if you have the XL package. Otherwise, I think you have to subscribe from scratch.
    Oh I don't know.

Thanks - on a total tangent, why do American companies refer to Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as one region?

We are plainly not in one region.
          Oh I don't know.

ESPN barely has a footprint in these areas, so it makes sense to have one business division flying around and expanding the business in these areas. If the footprint was larger, they could have ESPN in every nation. No one here thinks of these areas as one geographic region.

I find it strange that they've basically bought in exactly the same business model as Setanta... or am I missing something?

Companies based in the UK do that. The (wank) company that I work for does it
