Most expensive player plying his trade in the Championship

Just think about some of the cash that was used on some of the players now in the Championship

    Alfonso Alves £12m
    Collocini £10m

    Anyone cost more?

(I'm not counting Duff as he cost Newcastle £5m, and is clearly well past his best)

    Alves @ £12m

I would guess someone like Alan Smith is next up. Not sure how much Newcastle paid for him though mate? £5-7m?

                  Apparently so mate.

Though I think I read somewhere that he's been linked with a move to Qatar.

I remember some of our fans urging Rafa to sign him.

Norwich's first game in League One and lose 7-1 at home to Colchester

Gunn was the cheapest option for Norwich. He has no credentials for the job and Norwich will pay for it
