    UEFA nominees for best players

    UEFA have nominated these players to win best player:

    GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea), Victor Valdes (Barcelona), Edwin van der Sar (Manchester United)

    DEF: Gerard Pique (Barcelona), John Terry (Chelsea), Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United)

    MF: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Xavi Hernandez og Andres Iniesta (Barcelona)

    STR: Samuel Eto'o og Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)

    So who deserves to win it?

    I think van der sar will win best keeper because of his "magical" run.

    Defender will go to Vidic as because of the same

    Iniesta deserves to win best midfielder absolutly exceptional last season

    And Eto'o or messi deserves the striker title.

                exactly, they have been average at best this year, in fact Chelski won more without "JT" in their team.

                        It really ****s me off when Cech is nominated for these things, wtf like?
                        He was ****e last season and not great the season before. In fact he's only actually had one full season when he was the best about.

                        Terry as well, was either injured or not at his best last season.
