No British broadcaster has secured the rights to screen Spanish football. BSkyB's deal to show La Liga expired in the summer and the satellite giant is reluctant to meet the £15m-a-season asking price.

Im sure they will come to some sort of agreement soon enough.
The UK is a very lucrative market for La Liga (and other top leagues). If their matches are not broadcast over here the bigger picture is that the finances in Spanish footy will suffer.Comment
