    No Spanish09/10 Football On Sky

No British broadcaster has secured the rights to screen Spanish football. BSkyB's deal to show La Liga expired in the summer and the satellite giant is reluctant to meet the £15m-a-season asking price.

Im sure they will come to some sort of agreement soon enough.

The UK is a very lucrative market for La Liga (and other top leagues). If their matches are not broadcast over here the bigger picture is that the finances in Spanish footy will suffer.

It will either be on Sky or the Already football packed ESPN, either way SKY still make lots of money.

It happened a few years ago also and it took about a month into the season to get it sorted.

Really looking forward to la Liga this year too.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That was the Spanish Supercup, their version of the Charity Shield.

Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0, after already having won 2-1 in the 1st leg.

I bear good news. My tells me Sky have signed a three year deal for La Liga rights and Real-Depor is the first match.
