Think of all the money that we've spunked away over the years. Didn't Arsenal pick Arshavin up for something like 'only' £10m too?

He's still got a face that I'd like to punch over and over again though.
Aye, He is meant to be a bit of a cunt though, then again, anyone that scores four goals against us in one game is definitely a cunt!

        Agreed

He comes across as a bit of a ****** in his interviews and I'd like to knock his teeth out.

He's annoying. Similar to Bellamy - if he's on your side then you love him however if he's playing for another team then he's a ****bag

I think he's come across like a decent fella. He went out of his way to mention, after Anfield, that his 'shhh' celebration is just what he does, and was in no way meant to be disrespectful to Liverpool. Didnt have to do that.

I think he's just confident in his ability and enjoys his football. Nowt wrong with that for me.

Agree on Arshavin, quality player and a level headed character.

I heard we came close to signing him as well, but we were too late on off loading Keane and he'd already given his word to Spurs. I reckon he'd have won us the title too.
            Forwards.......

I thought he was really poor in that game, it was a nice goal but it should have been saved but in general he wasn't in the game that much.

He is a very inconsistent player.

Flair players like him can be inconsistent, but he's a player who makes things happen and makes the difference in games.

We're crying out for another of those, we only have 2 (3 if you count Yossi).

                    +1..
Almost non-existent really in the game, and was a passenger for the most part......something which Arsenal can really do without especially when the going gets tough for them.
That said, nice goal (despite the **** keeping.....defo peno before it as well), but he hasn't shown any level of consistency yet (which, by all accounts, has been the stand out feature of his subdued footballing career thus far).
Still...., relatively new in the league and that could change, but even "flair" players need to find that extra level of consistency to turn them into truly indispensable first team players.

Right before they play the mancs. Great.

Though they were always going to roll over for them, weren't they.

"X-rays have now shown the Croatian ace has fractured his right fibula and it could lead to Modric being out of action for months"

Apparently it came from a tackle with Lee Bowyer

Wenger quote from the post game interview

"You know what you get at Old Trafford when you come - every time - but I don't want to go into the performance of the ref. If you have any questions you shouldn't ask them to me."

Wonder how many leg breaks there have been in the prem compared to other leagues, seems to be a regular occurance these days.

Oh, but Chelsea have already won, haven't you heard?
