    Darren Fletcher

Credit where credit is due. The fella has come on leaps and bounds.
Looks a totally different player these days.

He's a very good and efficient player. I think United suffered in the CL final last season because he was suspended. Has come in leaps and bounds the last couple of years. He's United's Lucas.

Efficient is the right word, and I totally agree with the Lucas thing. He can be our equivalent. It took some time but Fletcher has started to contribute the odd goal, usually big goals too. Fair play to him. He's one of the few Mancs I don't mind - seems a nice lad.

He certainly hasn't always been as good as he is now. he's improved hugely in the last two seasons.

He was better than he was given credit for and always showed his potential for Scotland but for years he struggled to really influence the flow of a game and now he can. As Shaggy notes he has also added a knack for getting key goals.

Darren Fletcher makes appearance for Manchester United

Darren Fletcher made an appearance for Manchester United in Tuesday's 2-1 testimonial defeat against Aberdeen.
The 28-year-old midfielder had not played since November, when he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis - a chronic bowel condition.

Hate Utd but genuinely pleased to see Fletcher back. Hope he recovers and resumes his career.
            Another MASSIVE game

I can only echo the above sentiments. Not nice to see a young man who should be his prime suffer from any illness. I wish him all the best and hope he makes a full recovery, and his team loses every game.

                        I guess so.

Although in the circumstances I think you could have found a better turn of phrase.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

There are so many types of colitis too which makes management difficult. I'd be interested to know what strain he had/has and what they used to manage it.
