Crouch is still quality, one of our most regretful sales of recent years IMO.

Scores whenever he plays regular first team football.

2 league starts this season, 2 league goals.

I'm not going to argue with that. I just don't think he's of the required quality. You'll probably counter-argue with some stats which look meaningless compared to Torres's stats so I'll leave it there.

The required quality for what though? I wouldnt have him as my first choice, but he'd be superb backup and would be excellent at leading the line in the 4231 when Torres was rested.

                Can't argue with that.

I rate Crouch as a good player and a top chap. Shame he didn't wanna stay really.

He left because he didn't want to play as back-up as it would harm his England chances.

                    I know that Joe.

I was just saying how good he'd be for us, i'm aware he wanted 1st team football.

Mind you, he's not exactly 1st choice at Spurs now.

Exactly it. N'Gog can do a pretty good job for the team. He looks far more mobile and quicker than Crouch.

Crouch is a top class player. I wish he was still with us.

N'Gog has potential, but nobody with eyes would pick him over Crouch, given the choice.
