Jones and Bent are capable of troubling the mancs, i'm glad Sunderland are playing 2 up front. Rio Ferdinand not starting, i'd put Jones on Evans to bully him, knowing that Bent will have the pace on Vidic if he gets away.

    Come on Sunderland.

If Sunderland keep this mentality, they can get something here. Bent has a touch of ability and pace to burn, while Jones is a nightmare to deal with when he's on it.

Malbranque is decent and Cattermole & Cana arent bad. Anton Ferdinand and Turner at CB need to be strong.

One of the best buys for any Premiership team this season.

Man Utd are pretty ordinary these days IMO.

Also the fear factor they have is starting to fade. I think teams go to Old Trafford now a little more hopeful than they did a couple of years ago.

Absolutely piss taking refereeing but you'd expect that, wouldn't you.

Two minutes added time in the first half, in which nothing happened. Then he waves off a blatant free kick 20 yards from goal that Sunderland deserved (let's say it was more blatant than Carragher/Hines penalty), and finishes off the half with a dodgy handball call to give the mancs one last chance in the dying minutes.

But nobody's going to mention that, will they.

If the mancs aren't going to score within 20 minutes, you'll all witness the ridiculous level in which Alan Wiley gives every single decision against Sunderland, until the mancs score enough goals to win the game.

                                From the BBC:
1818: Appalling refereeing from Alan Wiley. Steed Malbranque pushes the ball past Patrice Evra and skins him on the inside, but Evra takes a clump of his shirt and Malbranque goes down. Wiley waves away Sunderland's protests - why on earth would he go down if he hadn't been fouled? Embarrassing.
