Of course he will. His track record is second to none in that instance. Luis Garcia, Torres, Morientes, Johnson, Alonso, Riera, Agger etc ... all flair players in the same league as Heskey.Originally posted by cream View PostIf Rafa goes for someone like Heskey when Pandev is available, I will stop supporting him.

Liverpool were last night mounting a major effort to sign former Lazio striker Goran Pandev on a free transfer next month in a bid to boost their flagging season.
I understand the highly-rated 26-year-old Macedonian has become the number one priority in the January window, with Kop boss Rafa Benitez desperate to increase Liverpool's firepower in the second half of the season.
And the Spanish boss is prepared to sacrifice unhappy Dutch attacker Ryan Babel in a bid to balance the books - with three other Kop stars also heading for the exit.
Andriy Voronin, Italian defender Andrea Dossena and Swiss international Philipp Degen may be allowed to leave as Benitez shakes up his squad for a win-or-bust battle for a Champions League place.
Pandev has just won a legal battle with Lazio who refused to sell the striker for less than £18million .
In September he officially filed for a termination of his contract after being excluded from the squad and labelled a rebel by the Rome club. Dispute But an Italian court has ordered Lazio to terminate Pandev's contract following a payment dispute and they were also ordered to pay him almost £150,000 in punitive damages as well as the legal costs.
That ruling alerted Liverpool who were already on the striker's trail - and Benitez has urged managing director Christian Purslow to find the cash to finance a deal with the hitman wanting around £95,000-a week.
The departure of Babel could pave the way for Pandev's arrival with the Dutch star a possible target for Manchester City and Blues winger Martin Petrov set to leave with Tottenham his ideal destination. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
