Isnt cortisone the same thing that players are injected with when injured, to get them through a game?

      How can it be illegal?

        My guess is...

Intra-articular cortisone injections only have local effects, so can only really be used as treatment for exisiting injury/inflammation. Administered orally however, it's effects are generalised so it can be used to enhance performance directly, or indirectly through increased tolerance to training.

Didnt realise there was a distinction between injecting it and taking it orally.

How do you know this? Very impressive

And they go into detail about the medical side of it?

Of course, I mean if you went for a scan and they didn't go into detail about the medical side of things in the report you'd be a bit miffed wouldn't you?

I take it, it's some sort of MRI, X-ray imaging department...not Image department
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
