Not best pleased with the draw.

Wanted Portugal or Greece. Playing the first leg in Dublin isn't ideal either.

On paper the French should murder us, but they also have to deal with the Domenech effect, which gives us more than a fighting chance.

Errr, France are pish. Manager is clueless and the team don't play well together

If you can come so close to beating the world champs then I see no reason why you can't beat the french

Maybe. We'll wait and see. I'm just not convinced we have enough to match France over two legs. Their individual quality is bound to show at some stage.

**** FIFA. Nothing like changing the goalposts at the eleventh hour to show where their priorities lie.

We shouldn't have anything to fear against the French. Granted, we may not be the best team in the world but we went unbeaten in our group and drew twice with the World Champions. France aren't any better than Italy.

If we have our first choice eleven fit for both games we stand a good chance.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

Ireland can win. France aren't all that.

Ireland can win, but so can France. I'd have France as the favourites but I wouldn't put any money on the result.

But I think that with the second leg in France the French will edge it, especially as their big players will turn up knowing a world cup spot is on the line.
