Very kind of the FA to give him a Carling Cup game instead of a league match. Absolute ****ing joke, it just gets worse and worse.

It always happens, look whenever they're players appeal a sending off, the ban almost always includes a Carling cup match that they were unlikely to play in anyway.

Btw what's the FA's excuse for this, shouldn't the bans start with immediate effect?

Also they should be UEFA style bans where managers aren't allowed near the team, or any contact with the bench from so long before the game until it's over
