However, not trying to be insensitive, but killing yourself by parking on train tracks is an incredibly selfish act that massively lowers my sympathy for someone (and a close friend of mine did something similar years ago so I'm not just talking out of my arse), he could have caused a major accident and killed many others, plus its a horrible thing for train drivers etc to deal with. Its not so hard to find a suicide method that will only devastate the lives close to you rather than those of many other strangers too.
True but who knows what was going through his head as he got in his car. I don't have any idea how someone feels who is considering taking their own life but is it not possible it was just opportunistic/ unplanned, saw the train and decided in that split second?
Heartbreaking story.

I think he parked his car and jumped in front but still effects the driver.
R.I.P Enke, I am shocked people are calling him selfish he lost his daughter a couple of years ago and think a lot of people would do the same. I just feel so sorry for his wife.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think people are saying he was selfish in killing himself and the affect on his family ect rather in the way he did it, which could have caused 100's of deaths from a train accident and as also stated the train driver (often train drivers quit there job and fall off the rails (and no I didn't intend that to be a pun before anyone says) when they hit someone )
