It's about dangerous play, innit. If there's no one near him, it's not dangerous so it's fine.

Yeah I guess that works on the whole but there's still going to be incidents where a player goes for the bicycle, kicks a defender in the face but gets off as accidental.

Not that I would ever want to see acrobatic efforts banned, mind.
