    Russia - Hiddink's first big fail?

    Big ****up by Hiddink not seeing Russia into world cup?

    Or is it more that he's dutch and russian footballers only really respond to chainsmoking ex-kgb agents? Which isn't true either and is the great tragedy at the heart of Russian stuff.

    He should have got to the World Cup finals but hardly a failure given they were semi finalists in the Euros.

      Narrowly missed out what would have been a pretty decent achievment. One of those things where, yes, he failed to meet his target, but you can't say he didn't do a good job. Quality manager in my eyes.

        He's mostly done well but he failed big time at Real Madrid and Betis too.
