He's looked good at times for City but I think the differences you see in Villa are more telling. They take much longer to get the ball from defense to attack no in a lot of games and their midfield plays deeper against good teams. I think we missed out in that while he isn't a world class player I feel he would fit perfectly into our system and allow us to play higher up the pitch which is one of the things I feel we really need to do."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

He's slow, so yeah, pedestrian, but then so is Alonso and lots of other centre-mids. His range of passing is excellent and is an intelligent player who takes up really smart positions.Last edited by Shaggy; 29-11-09, 11:58 AM.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Everyone goes on about "WTF was Rafa thinking?" yet, 'the best manager in the world, ever' (™) Fabio Capello thinks the sun shines out of Barry's arse, and no-one says a peep? As ****ing usual it's one rule for Rafa and another rule for everyone else.
Barry's a very good player, end of story. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
