I didn't want us to sign him but I hold my hands up and say I think I was wrong. He's impressed this season and is developing into a very good player.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Creates/converts far more than Kuyt, but is more able to with other players advancing forward creating space for him

Milner is a very good player and possibly with Aquilani in the team would be a good addition. Right now though he doesn't have what we need - either real pace from deep or an attacking play maker.

Yes I agree but apparently he has no end product (which is bull****).

Aaron Lennon Bio Send To Friend
The Tottenham winger looks to have cemented his place in the squad with a series of impressive performances for club and country. An incredibly quick player, Lennon offers something different in the England attack and his ability to beat his man has elevated him above David Beckham in the midfield pecking order.
Having made the breakthrough as a teenage prodigy at Leeds, he was sold to Tottenham for just £1 million in June 2005 but was kept out of the first-team by the very similar Wayne Routledge. He soon surpassed his rival though and was a surprise inclusion in the England squad for the 2006 World Cup.

His pace and trickery initially had pundits purring over him, but a loss of form saw him left out of the international scene for two years. However, under new Spurs boss Harry Redknapp he turned his career around and helped the club to their best start to a league season since the 1960-61 season in 2009-10.

Strengths: One of the fastest players in the Premier League, Lennon's game is based on pace. He has excellent skill on the ball and a keen eye for a pass.

Weaknesses: His final ball is not always on the spot, and he has struggled with consistency in recent years, both in fitness and form.

Career high: The raw 19-year-old made a successful late bid to sneak into Sven Goran Eriksson's England party for the last World Cup finals.

Career low: An international exile of two years as Lennon's form plummeted under Juande Ramos at Spurs.

Style: Pacy, energetic, nimble, a real livewire.

Quotes: ''Mixing my game up, that is down to experience and looking at how defenders have tried to mark me... I've been playing well for my club. My all-round performance is a lot better. I have been working on a lot of different things and I definitely think I'm a more complete player.'' Aaron Lennon, September 2009.

Trivia: He became the youngest player ever to appear in the Premier League at the age of 16 years and 129 days, coming off the bench at White Hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspur in a 2-1 loss in August 2003. The record has since been broken by Fulham's Matthew Briggs.

Soccernet says: He offers something different on the wings and his pace will be a real threat to opposition defenders if he gets going.

After making a record number of appearances for the England U-21 side, Milner made the breakthrough into the senior England side aged 23. The Villa midfielder impressed in his debut against Holland in 2009 and has the potential to secure his place in the squad. Beginning his career at Leeds, Milner was viewed as one of the best teenage prospects around and became the Premiership's youngest-ever scorer with a goal against Sunderland. However, after showing he could cut it in the top flight, Leeds' financial plight led to his sale and he moved to Newcastle in 2004. Cementing his reputation as a hard-working and skilful midfielder while at St James', he attracted the attention of Aston Villa (who had taken him on loan in 2005) and he moved for a fee of around £12 million in 2008. A key member of the U-21 international setup, he has much to prove in the senior side. Strengths: Strong in possession, Milner is able to beat his man with his pace and skill. His willingness to play, versatility and tenacious style make him a useful squad member. Weaknesses: He does not get on the scoresheet as much as he should and needs to be more consistent with his crossing ability. Career high: His full debut for the England team, in which he changed the game and created a goal from off the subs' bench for Jermaine Defoe in a 2-2 draw with Holland. Career low: Sold by the club he loved to Newcastle United for an initial price of £3.6 million, when financial problems eventually forced Leeds to cash in on him in July 2004. Style: Skilful, tricky, tenacious, a willing runner. Quotes: ''He plays with the brain of a 30-year-old." Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri, December 2002. Trivia: He has a record 46 caps for the England under-21 side. Soccernet says: He made a real impact off the bench and has the enthusiasm and skill to make an impression if given the chance.

Lennon is another who is improving no end. His lack of end product was often mentioned because it was a valid point, but at 21 he is improving that aspect of his game.

Aye i was wrong about Milner too. I never rated him before this season, i mean in flashes he showed his ability but now he's putting it together consistently and fair play to him.

Never used to rate Lennon either but that was mainly due to a lack of good delivery and cutting edge but now he's sorted that out and he's actually looking like a top class player.

If we had Lennon on our right side and Milner on our left i wouldn't be complaining.
