    Mark Hughes sacked!

City to make an announcement at 7.30pm tonight. Rumours that Mancini was in the ground today for the game against Sunderland. At full-time Hughes didn't look happy.

Just saw him waving at the City fans and it was written all over his face.

Blimey, but it was always likely I guess.

Hughes to take over at Anfield - what price?

This'll no doubt mean a splurge in the transfer market this January for City.

Mancini hey, kind of thought he may have been a decent option for us when Rafa is sacked.

Nevermind Mark Hughes for next LFC manager
            We come not to play.

I'd take Roy Hodgson for us.

I was about to post the same thing because I wasn't sure I heard correctly on the radio.

Thought I heard on Talksport that the City board had planned to give Hughes the tin tack before todays game. Should be a press conference soon or something?!

                  No surprise really.

I've been thinking that. Good man doing a very good job. Cannot see it happening though.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Offer Roy the job and there is absolutely no way he could turn it down. No way.

Agreed. I do think a lot of top managers around the world would turn it down, for obvious reasons, but given Hodgson's age etc I'm sure he'd take it. I think he could turn us round this season, even if it's only a stop-gap.

I'd be happy (relatively speaking) with Hodgson.
