The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Why would he move from Burnley, where he is worshipped and the club are on a real role and fans are realistic about their possibilities to a club in decline with idiotic fans, very little more money where the only realistic direction you can go is down? I know he played for them for a few seasons but surely Bolton arent that much better than Burnley, are they?!!!

Realistically he can't do anymore at Burnley. There max wage is what 15K a week? Probably thinks if he stays and they're relegated will the opportunity arise again. Bolton do have better resources although ultimately I find it strange he rejected Celtic only to go to Bolton 6 months later.
Good luck to him, his teams play good football. Seems a decent bloke and he was a reasonable player. I remember him well from his Bolton cup runs.
Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
He played for Bolton during his career, so may have an affinity there although it is strange that he rejected Celtic...maybe he doesnt rate the Scottish league challenge wise.
Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??
