My issue isn't with the appointment of roy hodgson, it's the fact that it signals we are stuck with this board/ownership for longer than i hoped.

- the point i was making here is that if hicks/gillete appoint hodgson, then it means we're stuck with them all

the appointment of hodgson signals more - Liverpool will no longer be contenders for anything other than maybe the odd uefa cup or domestic cup run, no more champions league, no major player signings, no major trophy (premier league/champions league)

Thats not roy hodgsons fault, but lets look at another way.

Is Roy Hodgson being appointed by Liverpool Football Club because they really believe he is the man to deliver the Premier League title???

Imo no ****ing chance - the appointment of hodgson signals imo, that there is no takeover coming, meaning we will lose our top stars, won't be getting a new stadium and eventually we will reduce the squad to minimise costs and roy will be tasked with getting the best of whats left which will be a top 10 finish and if we get some luck a uefa or carling cup run to cheer about.

Roy might do a fantastic job - but we aren't going to be challenging for 4th let alone the title

If or when we ever get taken over - hodgson will be sacked

roy ****ing hodgson - it's going to happen - we are going to end up with hodgson kenny will walk, we are going to lose mascher/gerrard/torres, we are going to sign some cheapo ****e to fill in the gaps, and we are ultimatley going to be shit.
