I get the money comparison obviously on a wider scale but the talent wise it is non existent between Bale & Carroll.

Completely different, Bale has the potential to be World class, Caroll only ever had the potential to be at best an average premiership player.

I thnk Andy was probably worth 12m, And in todays market i do think 30m+ for Bale is about right, SO both 3 times what they are worth imo.

not talking realisitic here, we are talking about football When the likes of Fletcher and Graham are going for 15m & 12m think 12m is about right.


I don't think he is either, not better than Suarez and probably another dozen players out there but some silly figures this summer but how Bale has become potentially the most expensive player in the world costing twice as much as Neymar is ridiculous!!!

Rumours are Ronaldo won't be there next season. Bale as his replacement for not much more money proportionally makes a bit more sense in that light.

Spurs already spent £50, right? Maybe £35 net spend with sales? I think they are wisely pre-spending to get good deals... who would they buy? Lamela? Not sure how Bale is replaced.

They are already spending the bale money. But even if they have a stronger squad they will lose their one true match winner which will be a huge loss
