It's a ridiculous price but I think people are underestimating how good he has been in European games in previous season to last year. I think he'll do very well for them. Hard to imagine any player but Messi or Ronaldo ever being able to justify that price tag.

Falcao was an unlikely one to be allowed to go to them and Cavani isn't the sort of exciting player Bale is.

They would probably have gotten Suarez for about 50 million as well, without being too biased, I'd think that would be a better buy. Or they could have bought Lamela, Willian, Paulinho, Soldado and Capuoe
