                I thought he would totally bomb and he has not.

                He has settled quickly. When was the last time a Brit scored a hat-trick in a foreign league? No matter the quality of the goals he has taken his Spurs form to Madrid. Impressive.

                  Easier in La Liga? Obviously Messi and Ronaldo are unbelievable players but I've always wondered if their goal:games was a bit out of proportion compared to if they were here.

                      Ronaldo scored loads over here to, and in the champs league, as has Messi. They are just better.

                                Has it been forgotten Bale was a left back? He started as an out and out left winger, according to the ITV football commentary team ummmm no he didn't he was a sub standard left back converted into a left winger as he wasn't good enough as a defender.
