I would think it will be in Sports Cafe/Walkabout style establishments, which are mostly full of cocks anyway.

I have monocular vision, so all this 3D stuff completely passes me by, or worse, is unwatchable. I have never seen anything genuinely in 3D in my life. Don't feel like I've missed out on much tbh.

Half of me maybe more would love to see the headlines on monday morning after a gunman walks into said establishment and shoots dead all 250 goggle wearing 'sports' fans/geeks/cocks after holding a 25 year long grudge over the **** 3d effects he witnessed at hammersmith cinema watching jaws in the eighties.

3D glasses for gaming, sure, 3D glasses for watching sport...
                    [rant]
I don't completely dismiss the idea of 3D TV's and all that but I think if it goes mainstream there will be a lot of unhappy people, me included. Since I wear glasses anyway if I can't get my lenses fitted into these things what's the point? I might benefit in the fact that I won't have to take them off if I can get my lenses built in, however, walking around the street looking like a ******ish dickbag isn't going to do me any justice.

Oh what a disaster. I can imagine myself looking a **** infront of a monitor playing Xbox 500ti experiencing a good dose of 3D gaming, with the lights switched off.. headset and goggles on.. anything else, no chance!

I think the main issue with this... can you imagine all the 3D glasses that are going to get destroyed after facing a bad result watching a match, it's a stupid idea already.

Good one sky, and good one Andy Gray you have just achieved something I never thought could happen, by wearing those glasses you have become an even bigger ****. [end-rant/]

My mate wears glasses and saw avatar fine. Just put the 3d glasses over his normal ones.

I was thinking of combining a visit to my mate in Cardiff with checking this out to see how well it works.

So you're in a crowded pub, everyone's getting lashed. The ball flies at the camera, everyone ducks / dives out the way, pints go everywhere. It'll be like a fight in a Wild West film. Who thought that would be a good idea?

"The good news is that all Sky+HD customers already have the set-top box they need to enjoy 3D, meaning they simply need to buy any new 3D TV, all of which will work seamlessly with Sky's ground breaking new service."

Yep, simply go out and buy a brand new TV after you've just spent the best part of a grand on the new HD TV that Sky kept telling you that you needed.
