2.4 million seems **** all money for someone so highly rated.

Although the liquidators always **** things up.

Quite surprised - was led to believe that he didn't want to leave London
              Really?

Never seen him play so it'll be interesting to see how he does in the PL.

He'll probably score loads for Wigan and then get snapped up by a top club for £10m+ in the summer.

Dave Whelan will always find the cash if it is for highly rated youngsters - particularly if they are british (i know that moses is nigerian-born but he has been in england since he was very young)

Put it this way, i don't think he would have allowed Martinez spend the same amount on someone like Benni McCarthy.....

I would love if liverpool only signed top class players like torres (maybe ONE £20m player a year) and one or two top youngsters every year as well...... i'd love if we signed Adam Johnson and Victor Moses this Jan......would have been class business......

The list of players that we highly rated young players that anyone could have had (certainly Liverpool could have had) for relatively little money over the last few years is endless.....

                    Aaron Lennon
                    Aaron Ramsay
                    James Milner
                    Ashley Young
                    Victor Moses
                    Adam Johnson
                    Fabien Delph

thing is, if they don't work out, then you'd probably get 70% of your outlay back anyway......

Surely even if Moses flops you'd be able to get £2.5m back. We should certainly go after Adam Johnson in the summer, as he's out of contract and should be available for a minimal fee
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                          Absolutely.

We've been linked with Johnson a few times haven't we? No-lose situation really - hopefully we snap him up.

but as he's out of contract the fee will be decided by tribunal, and are usually set very low, so is likely to be much less than a fee decided by the club
