      Non league is where its at. Prem footy is to pressurised now. Lose a game and its the end of the world. Lower League footy sees lad who actually want to play for the shirt plus its just a better laugh and you can stand with your mates and take the piss out of the opposition goalie while he rips you back.

      Southport is a good little ground although they think they are bigger than they are which is a bit off putting for the casual match go-er.

          That's the problem - the football is so poor and it will always be poor. I watch quite a bit of League Two stuffs...well, not so much now but I do go at least a couple of times a season, and I enjoy the experience. I used to have season tickets as a kid. The football is nearly always ****, but the experience is very enjoyable.
          Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

            Standard is poor. But get down to Farnborough Town and listen to their quality chants such as;

            "Their's only one Kezie Ibe, one Kezie Ibe. He's got the name of a site that sells second hand ****e, walking in an Ibe wonderland".

            "Running round Woking with our willies hanging out singing 'Ive got a bigger one that youuu', singing 'Ive got a bigger, Ive got a bigger, Ive got a bigger one than youuuu".

              They were Conference last season though. Poor old Lewes are right royally ****ed financially, will they charge £16 in the Ryman?

              My local side Bromley only charge £10 for adults, £5 for concessions. Still overpriced, hardly surprising that average gates are only 500

                Not sure I'd go that far. The Conf South has it's fair share of money driven players and they all need coaxing in to re-signing each season. There's no transfer window, last season we fielded 30 or so players with them coming and going all season long. You tend to follow the club at non-league level, we've only really ever had two player chants - 'super, super nic' McDonnell and Sam Woods who then buggered off to Brentford. Ex player Garath McCleary got sent off for Notts Forest against Doncaster yesterday. He'd only been brought on 10 mins earlier

                Non-league is definitely where it's at though. Changing ends at half time, toilets with no lights, fetching the ball from the field next door and pissing behind the stands
