Yes, unfortunately Higuaín was doing a Bendtner last night.

So much for a team who splashed that much money.

It's typical Madrid. Hilarious. Spunk nearly three hundred ****ing million on players, and scrimp and save on someone largely untested like Pellegrini to oversee all those egos and they fail yet again. Lose one game, out of the European Cup and probably going to sack their manager for it. What a shambles they are.

If they don't win the league he'll be gone. If they do win the league he'll probably still be gone.
Im only gutted because with Alonso and Marcelo back from suspension they would probably have spanked Man Utd

Hats off to Claude Puel though, superb management last night. He didn't sit back do nothing, he made the right moves

Maybe they will but they'll be found out again at some stage of this contest. They've again played nobodies and past it teams like milan sofar, put them up against Barca etc and we'll seee how their backline holds out under constant pressure.

probably?? All ive seen so far are quotes backing Pellegrini. It wasn't his fault anyway. Madrid should have been 3-0 up at HT, they were all over Lyon in the first half. The only ones to blame are the players that couldn't put the ******* in the net

They always say that stuff. I'll be surprised if they keep him on. They should, he's doing a decent job I think, but I'm sure they'll sack him in the summer.

Im not so sure really. If they win the league i think that will be enough to keep his job. They're playing really good football too under Pellegrini. I hope they dont sack him, he's a good manager....and im enjoying watching Madrid again for the first time in a while.

You cant take any quotes from Madrid seriously though.

They sacked Capello for winning La Liga but not the CL and they sacked Del Bosque for winning the CL and not La Liga.

They also said there was 'never ever ever' any chance of them signing Beckham, shortly before they unveiled the deal.

If you want to know what is going on, listen to what a Madrid official says, and then expect the opposite to happen.

                                Indeed.

A picture of Pele making a football based prediction would also achieve the same effect.
