Yep wasn't it Carra and Baros with broken legs in the same game?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought it was Carragher and Cisse? (could be wrong though)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I would've said Baros and Carra. Cisse did break his leg against Blackburn as well though

Aye, innocuous looking tangle with Jay McEvely as I remember.

I'd take against that actually. I mentioned the fact of Vieira before and I genuinely don't think that Wenger would in his heart of hearts want to outlaw tackling but at times you see games in this country where at least one team has decided from the off to kick the opposition off the pitch. It's tolerated far too often if you ask me and like I said I do think that the Eduardo leg break was an example of what happens if you allow teams to go out with that mentality.

The Shawcross incident was totally different and it was just Wenger being emotional in the heat of the moment (or if he repeats it the he is in my view cynically using the incident) and unfortunately being biased due to previous experience when he attacked him.

The Fellaini/Kyrgiakos incident is a valid example of two player going in dangerously, as was the Peinaar challenge all of which was well out of order and part of the English game we should not be proud of.

I really don't believe that happens very often at all.

Freak accident. Unfortunate for Ramsey, and i wish him a speedy recovery.

I think Wenger owe's Shawcross an apology, i think some of the things Wenger has said where unacceptable.

I heard rumours that Shawcross had to ring his mum to pick him up after the game, as he was too distraught to drive back himself.

I think Carra broke his leg, and Baros broke his ankle in a collision with Babbel? if i remember correctly.

I agree with the fact it was an accident and that no malice was intended, however Shawcross is a player with a bit of previous in this, he broke Jeffers leg a few years back and was lucky not to do the same to Adebayor when he played for Arsenal. I dont think he is a 'dirty' player but he does play right on the edge and it could have been a matter of time before he was involved in something like this
