Lampard got showed up horribly last night. Not only was he very poor when he played, gerrard and Barry were shocking first half as well. When Carrick came on for him (and i've never really rated him) he completely changed the game. His passing was incisive and more importantly it seemed to release Gerrard compltely, who was outstanding.

walcott is a player seriously lacking confidence. i didn't watch last night's england game but if his recent arsenal preformances are anything to judge by, he's seems to be afraid to go at players and use his speed. he just seemed to pass the ball backwards on every occasion. shame, he was/is a really promising player. i hope it's just a temporary thing this.Jürgen Klopp
