Lampard got showed up horribly last night. Not only was he very poor when he played, gerrard and Barry were shocking first half as well. When Carrick came on for him (and i've never really rated him) he completely changed the game. His passing was incisive and more importantly it seemed to release Gerrard compltely, who was outstanding.

England won't win anything with Lampard in the middle of a flat 4 and Gerrard on the left. Just won't happen. Lampard has to be sacrificed if u's want to beat the big boys

walcott is a player seriously lacking confidence. i didn't watch last night's england game but if his recent arsenal preformances are anything to judge by, he's seems to be afraid to go at players and use his speed. he just seemed to pass the ball backwards on every occasion. shame, he was/is a really promising player. i hope it's just a temporary thing this.

Cant see it not under the legend that is Arsene Wenger......he will turn him into one of the worlds greatest players, just like he would have done with Babel.

I think people should look at the Walcott example when they say that Babel would definitely be a different player under someone like Wenger.

Even more impressive when you consider he only has 17 starts, and the majority of his goals have come from starts.

At a guess, it must be something like 14 goals in 17 starts. Incredible stats. Class act.

Really wish we still had Crouchie. One of Rafa's biggest ****-ups was giving Voronin game time at Crouch's expense.
