I'd be delighted if they do it. Funny thing, they really can do it judging by that result in the first leg.

I think with the money Real splashed in the summer, they should have been 10 points clear at the top of the table. They're under-performing IMO. They're not sure to qualify for the next stage of the CL too.

I agree, the classico will be a good game.
You're talking pure dribble. Under performing They have the best GD in La Liga, and they're leading the title race.

For them to be 10 pts clear of Barca, they would have to be sitting on 72 points from 25 games....or 24 wins and 1 loss

Theyve won 20 of 25 games in the league. Imagine if they start performing!

I think Madrid will blitz them in the bernabeu.

Lyon could certainly score, but i wouldnt be surprised if Madrid net 3 or 4 goals.

I can understand what you're saying about the money they spent and the idea of 'underperforming' in relation to the funds they spent, but in reality, 20 wins from 25 games is insanely good, regardless of spending.

It's not as simple as to say "Spending £250m should mean 22 wins, £300 should mean 23 wins" etc.

There's far too much flexibility in a football match, for it to be as 'clinical' as that.

They should have won 25 out of 25 with that team, should already have been qualified for the CL final and won the Spanish cup just by turning up. In other words, they're massively under performing. FACT.

I wouldnt say Roma have no chance. Since christmas they are the most in-form team throughout Europe.

I dont know what i would have got without them but it wouldnt have been that good as they were the long shot (7/1) which made the accumalator worth taking.

                      Quite.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Oh I know, my intentions were clear though and that was deliberate and done in such a way to invite pedantic replies. I do agree with the fredoian slip beforehand but it was pretty pointless to change my post. I still meant to say my mother though.
