        Sexuality has no place in sport, it's as simple as that. It's unnatural, it's disgusting and can potentially cause unrest in the dressing room even for a short period of time. Football is football, there is no need to "come out" like that rugby player did because it's irrelevant. It seems as Rudi has the player's and the team's best intentions at heart but can also be perceived as anti-homo to. Part of a managers job is to make sure there is harmony and cohesion in the dressing room, if something as trivial as what an individual does in his private life can upset that atmosphere then the manager is only doing his job.
