Thanjk you.

there was a headline in one of the sunday papers jose says yanks but no thanks anybody know the details i couldnt get hold of a paper to read the article
It alleged that Mourinho said he'd consider the Liverpool job if the yanks ****ed off, or if they put in proper investment.
Like i said, Mourhino will only go somewhere where he can buy success, he's not willing to blot his CV by taking charge of a team that requires a period of building. He's all about the instant success, the ME factor, and will not settle for building a side up from the bare bones over a period of years.
Plus his teams played boring, unattractive football, one up front, supported by 2 wide men and an deep lying midfielder...same formation we employ, but with more expensive acquisitions in the roles mentioned.

I actually disagree. Liverpool and Scum are the 2 clubs with european history, pedigree etc.
I could see him moving to us without the promise of big bucks.
He has done the money thing allready. Might be wrong but lets face it he has been to anfield on euro night, he has seen the support Rafa gets, why would he not fancy it.
It may also silence all the doubters who just say its all money led......

So why is he saying he'd only come with investment and new owners ? Why not just come now...and try to prove he can win the Prem under the same conditions as Rafa.
I think it's because he knows it would be very very difficult...and so wants certain changes at the club first....one is big investment...the other is new owners...he is more or less saying if lfc get bought by a mega rich person then, then i'd be willing to manage them.
Well no thanks. I'd rather a manager who is committed to lfc, and not his own record/stats as a manager, by picking and choosing clubs who can afford him.

although he plays a 4-3-3 it is as you say one up top and then 2 wide men. however, he tries to employ proper wide players who give genuine width ( remeber robben and cole up top with drogba ) and the one holding midfielder as apposed to our 2 deep midfieders.
i'm bursting with excitment over the mere possibility that jose would come here. he has the knack of making, as you say, "boring, unattractive football" a winning formula...............something rafa has not.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I don't that's quite true. I think he looks for high profile jobs where he can be the centre of attention. Now that could mean a job where there is a lot of money but it could also mean a job where the club is a big name club ie Liverpool Football Club.
And on that I believe he would jump at the chance of managing us.
As for the boring, unattractive football, I'm not overly bothered if it means we are winning and one thing Mourinho is, is he's a winner and one hell of a player motivator. I must admit I didn't like some of his antics when he was at the Chavs but if he made us winners again I could live with them.*
*Obviously this is only a possible scenario if Rafa does go at the end of the season.
Theres only one style of football that matters. Winning.
I dont really care if its dazzling like Barcelona or being dull and relying on a lot of set pieces. Obviously one is preferable to the other but it doesnt really matter.
Its not like he's Sam Allardyce anyway, we'd see plenty of outstanding football under Mourinho just like we have under Rafa.
Unless theres a huge change in ownership and not just another ****** like Muse coming in then we havent a chance of getting him anyway. We cant give our current manager a transfer budget with Champions League football, how are we going to sack him then hire someone else who'll cost money and big wages without CL football? Its not happening.
And im not even sure it would if Rafa left of his own accord.

Do you think Rafa wants to be scraping around the bargain bin? Course not.
There's no manager out there who doesnt want to work with proper budgets. Mourinho's saying he'd want proper investment - what's so bad about that? It's what the club needs, and that doesnt change just because JM says it.
As for boring football...haha. We're playing like Brazil 1970, are we?
Mourinho teams play winning football, that's the fact of the situation. They play decent stuff, go 2-0 up and then shut up shop. I'll take that, thank you.
Essentially, you're saying he plays the same system as us, but with pretty much better players. Well god forbid we should use better players who might win us something!
All you've done there is write a campaign speech for JM. I want him at Liverpool even more after reading your post.
