Been expecting this all day. He sealed his own fate after the match last night where he admitted he had no idea how to approach and match and how to set up his team

Really, did he say that... no wonder he's gone then, he's lost the plot by the sounds of that...totally broken.

        Maybe Mowbray Maybe-

"Maybe it isn't a league for trying to force the game and be expansive," Mowbray said after his side's seventh SPL defeat of the season.
"I'll take responsibility for the way we asked them to play."

We tried to be attack-minded, and left some young defenders pretty exposed," said Mowbray.
"We tried to be positive and we lost four goals. It's not the first time we've lost four goals this season.

Rangers have been very consistent - they haven't lost four goals in any game," said Mowbray.

"They set up differently - maybe that's the way to go.
"Maybe it isn't a league for trying to force the game and be expansive - maybe it is a league for playing defensive, negative football and having quality up front to counter-attack."

He's been unable to handle the pressure all season. He couldn't handle the spotlight and all the media focus.

Strachan did a superb job for them but Celtic fans are too thick to realise that

he is oirish so must be great!!!!!

have to admit it must be bad to have a team that has no money not bought any players in 18months and the bank on the board ahead of you in the table.

however they want to play a certain brand of football and thats when mowbray was trying to do.

they didnt like strachan as he didnt attack enough.

one celtic fan saying mowbray was a failure in england becasue west brom got relegated but what else could you expect

I think O'Leary is a better manager than some give him credit (this should still be taken as a far from ringing endorsement). I would certainly be surprised if Celtic attracted anyone better.

Much rather he carried on where he is as I like Norwich. Still it is indeed a good call.

Yeah very good call, if it were up to me I'd offer him the job.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Cant see Lambert taking it, he only recently said he wouldnt take it as England is far better and playing the same team up to 6 times a season is annoying.
