Yip. It was only because it got to half time at 0-0 that my hopes were raised slightly, but really City were always going to win this. I have seen enough though to suggest that they will definitely drop points from now until the end of the season.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNot gonna get fed up over this, never expected anything else.

Yep! Something to look forward to next season anyway. Just annoys me that the prem now has teams like Burnley, Wigan, Hull, Wovles, Stoke and Everton in it.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNewcastle are coming back up - that's a lovely six points in the bag for us
****ing Wolves should have been deducted points and relegated for the **** they pulled against the mancs. ****ers don't deserve to be in the prem pulling **** like that!

Disappointing because Wigan got to 70 mins at 0-0 and that raised our hopes. But realistically, i think we all expected a home win tonight, so it's nothing to be upset about.
Similar to Spurs beating Pompey at WHL, it was on the cards and not one of the games we were really pointing to for them to drop points. Same for City at home to Wigan tonight.
There's other games that we'll be looking more realistically at for them dropping points.

FA examines Wigan boss Roberto Martinez's criticism
The Football Association is to examine comments made by Wigan manager Roberto Martinez in the wake of Monday's 3-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Martinez accused referee Stuart Attwell of giving a red card for an incident he did not see - Gary Caldwell's challenge on Carlos Tevez when the score was 0-0.
He said: "We are all human and we make mistakes but to give a decision after something you don't see that is lying.
"You are making it up. That is hard to take. It's a real injustice."
Wigan capitulated following defender Caldwell's 56th-minute dismissal as Tevez notched a 12-minute hat-trick, moving Manchester City above Liverpool and to within two points of Tottenham in the race for the final Champions League spot.
But Martinez said Attwell, the youngest referee in the Premier League at 27, was wrong to send off Caldwell.
"To give a red card you have to be certain. Then you are looking at the replay it is no way it is a red card offence," he added.
"Gary said he went in really strong and got the ball. Carlos Tevez saw it, jumped off the ground, he's the one who left both feet.
"He [the referee] said he saw Gary Caldwell with both feet off the ground. That's why he gave the red card. But Gary Caldwell only went with one foot.
"The decision was a key moment in the game and until that moment we were coping really well with everything Man City had.
"I felt we were growing into the game, we had a couple of opportunities and felt that the last half an hour was going to be crucial.
"That decision was a key moment. It really cost us and the game went away from us."
The defeat leaves the Latics just two places and four points above the relegation zone, their next two fixtures being at Fulham on Sunday followed by a home clash with bottom club Portsmouth.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
