barca play some lovely one touch stuff but they're very similar to arsenal over here, in that they frustrate the **** by not finishing off all the flash build up.
If they swopped that lanky **** for someone like Torres or Rooney they'd be unbeatable. Even though that same **** scored twice he got lucky with the second, more often than not it'd have flown over the bar. Messi was average tonight.
Arsenal have a chance of doing them over there, if they start with Walcott and get an early goal who knows what will happen. The one good thing about them coming back today is they may have the confidence to win all their remaining games and nick the title.
On a side note, when you have someone like Rooney and you're a foreign team in a CL knockout, is it worth chucking someone on at the very end of the game to deliberately injure the cunt? Said player gets red but the one man team is out of the return leg. It would have happened in the good old days. It should happen these days.Always borrow money from a pessimist. no way are they better than the valencia team of a few years back.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostArsenal play lovely football, no doubt, but Barcelona's brand is a cut above. They're one of the best teams I've ever seen, no hyperbole. If they retain the CL this season, as well as their league, they'll go into the all-time great list.

2152: The odds are still massively in favour of Barcelona, according to stat magicians Infostrada Sports. In the 233 times that the first leg of a two-legged Champions League tie has finished 2-2, the away team has progressed 83.7% of the time. Make sense?!Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If we got a result like that 2-2 after being pumped up the arse by a horse, we'd be on laughing gas on the hosiptal table crying at the same time.
I wouldn't write arsenal off as football is a funny game. Anything could have. A goal right at the start and they could well defend till the end.
We bloody had a scary last 30 mins at the game at Anfield a couple years back. I remember all to well being at the game singing out loud just to keep the nervousness out my soul.
