I still think he is playing the long game for the United job. Possibly he also thinks this is his best shot at the CL with Inter and would consider City if they made a move for him in the summer.

Unless you think ferguson's going this summer, i dont see Mourinho planning on waiting a couple or more years in italy, after telling the world he doesnt like it there.

He did that in his first few months. He's still there.

I just cannot see him going to united as he will always have fergies legacy to compete with if he goes there right after bacon face leaves. where as if we get the investment and rafa leaves what bigger job in england is there than getting LFC back to the top and it will be just the job his massive ego can take on.

Imagine how bigger his ego will be if he comes here and wins the title after 20+ years of us going without. It is the perfect project for him. Lets not forget he would have been LFC manager already had Moores not ****ed about and left him hanging for two weeks.

I would love to have him here as he is just what we would need IF rafa and LFC part company.

Real Madrid need a manager and probably still covet Rafa. Jose also said in the interview (via Shreeves) that he loves England and England loves him. 2+2 will have to make 4 first.
                        One tit for another.

So he loves Inter the club but thinks italian football is ****! Spot on Jose i must say. Maybe all the **** the fans get up to during the games is also a factor?

We cant afford a transfer budget let alone a pay off to a manager and his staff so unless Rafa walks or goes to another club it aint happening.

I dont think Mourinho's wages would be that big a deal if Rafa left but no way can we afford to pay off Rafa and hire Mourinho.
