                To be honest I would much rather people were willing to offer opinions like that in interviews. As it is the opinions spouted by players in the media tend to be parroted twaddle or bland platitudes.

                  There are only a handful of people who speak their mind; Bellamy, Savage, Roy Keane, Carragher to a lesser extent. Probably others that I've missed too but it shows how dull and cagey a bit of media training can make you. I really don't know why anyone bothers with press conferences or post-match interviews.

                    In fact the FA are also to blame, doleing out punishment whenever somebody says anything that's not on the script, akin to some kind of Nazi/Chinese state-controlled media.
