They might have won it if Van Persie wasn't made of glass. He's a great player when he's in full flow.

Nice to see the draw between Villa & Everton aswell, probably the best result for us. We don't want the Blue****e getting any sniff of passing us out at this stage of the season.

He was dodgy when he arrived at Spurs but he's been excellent for a while now. He's definitely in the top five Premiership keepers for me.

Why does the BBC's league table here here have a line under Spurs in 5th? The top 4 cut off is obvious - what's the other one? UEFA Cup goes down to 7th doesn't it?

This game pinpoints for me, why Chelsea and United are better than Arsenal. For all their good football, Arsenal have a touch of vulnerability and naivety about them, whereby they can be outfought, stifled and frustrated, whereas i couldnt see Chelsea or United allowing Spurs to do that to them.

Why does the BBC's league table here here have a line under Spurs in 5th? The top 4 cut off is obvious - what's the other one? UEFA Cup goes down to 7th doesn't it?

Only fifth get it for league position.

6th get UEFA because Mancs won The Carling Cup.

7th will get UEFA as long as Pompey's appeal isn't successful.

Good question, no clue mate.

But I thought only 5th and 6th where guaranteed a euro league place as the other two english spots goes to the cups... 7th won't guarantee us euro league unless one of the teams above us win a cup...

I'm open to correction but I think 7th only gets it 'cause of the Pompey situation.

As far as I'm aware there's only one UEFA spot allocted for league positions and the other two are for the cup winners.
