His problem is that he's no longer playing for a side that's working for him 90 minutes of every game. Real launch it long towards him, hoping he does everything by himself. They're misusing him badly, signing him for that much doesn't mean he can attack by himself.

Then you'd pick someone else from the bench to go on. With this many players on the bench you can afford to take a risk with one of them.
