Yes of course but my main point is that they have a squad full of pace, power, threat, dangermen and goals from all areas. The exact opposite of us and in terms of attributes, pace, directness and trickery are the exact opposite of what rafa wants from his players.
The result is we cant buy a goal at home to fulham, whilst City have netted 11 in their last 2 games. Our lineup yesterday had ONE goal threat in it. City's would've had about 4 or 5.

That's exactly it. Mancini started off playing 3 defensive centre midfielders and they were woeful, short of inspiration and toothless.
But in a few short weeks, he has learned what rafa still hasnt in nearly 6 years - that you need to play with an attacking mindset and pick numerous players with genuine pace, power and goal threat, to succeed in the PL.
Mancini has learnt this very quickly and adapted his philosophies to suit the PL - and is getting the rewards. Rafa hasnt and wont, so we fail.

no he was our last great wide player .....remember him winning the league cup for us against Bolton under roy evans ......... just what our team needs is another stvie macmanaman ...had always hoped Paul Andersson and Adam Hammil would make the grade ......
