Fair play, i'm not saying all those specific figures are correct, but the point would've been a bit ****e without some kind of article or source

Whether they've recouped the fee yet or not, he'll certainly prove to be a fantastic investment financially as well as football-ingly. Even at £80m and with all the fuss that was made when they announced the signing.

That was the general point i was making

i still think it was overinflated. it was ridiculus but then maybe its casue we cant spend that much

i dont think people dont think its commercially a good buy just a horrible ammount to pay for a footballer at teh end of the day and in a worlwide recession

Of course not, but in the context of football deals, it'll be one of the best for them.

To be fair to them, their points tally of 74 so far is fantastic. They're very unlucky to be pitted against one of the best football teams of all time.

Barca are on course for their 3rd CL final and trophy in 5 years. Stunning stuff.

but surely spending nearly 200 million should mean they win the league.

i could show you your point of 50m budget we should have lol

In normal circumstances, of course. But beyond money, you have to mould it all into a proper team, with unity and fluidity. Money cant buy that bit. Barca have it in spades.

I do not believe one bit of it.

Madrid's population is about 3.2 million and they say over 1.2 million shirts in Madrid alone???

Are you kidding me? 1 in every 3 have that greasy ****'s shirt?

And it isn't like they get every penny of the €85. Part of it will go to the shirt sponsor and the middle men involved.

Also on the Madrid's website the shirt's price has been reduced from £61.94 to £49.99 now. And since when is £61.94 = €85?

It's all P.R stuff which the uninformed believe.

Wrong. I saw a boy in my neighbourhood running around in one yesterday. Is that proof enough?

75euros I think you'll find, which is a sale price as they are usually 92euros??

Interesting, the price drops down to the figure I gave if you change it to "£".
