No probs mate. In an ideal world, i'd be backing your viewpoint to the hilt but i've had enough of decades without titles Maybe it's desperation and maybe it's slightly tasteless but it's my natural feeling and instinct towards it

Here is a question for you Shaggy and any others who hate Jose,

      Hypothetically speaking of course......

IF getting mourinho 100% guaranteed the title next year would you want him as manager or would u keep Rafa if you knew he was 100% Guaranteed not to win it?
but if we knew that we'd have to find another new mgr in 2 or 3 years when Mo moved in? Seems a bit short term, even if we'd win everything. Maybe that'd be OK, bring in some cash and raise our profile?

i very much doubt that if Rafa did it in the semi finals and we got into the final we would be ripping Rafa.

Tactically he got it spot on, it may not have been pretty but he went to the best team in the world, went down to 10men for 60mins, forced them to play a centre half in attack and still they could only get one girl

        Mourinho got it spot on.

**** it mate, if we were going into a title decider and there was a manager that i was convinced would win it for us, i'd happily just have him for 5 minutes to do the teamtalk

Not sure Craig, I know we lost at home to Barca, but I seem to remember us creating a lot of chances at home too and being unlucky not to score.

I'm just pointing out that pragmatism isn't unique to Rafa and altho Maureen tends to be more proactive in his subs, he is no Wenger.

I also despise his cheating ways- and the only time I'd revel in them is when Ferguson was on the end of some repayment in kind.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Mate, we wouldnt have gone to attack Barca in the Nou Camp if we were defending a 1st leg lead. Never.

Rafa didnt even go to attack ****ing Wolves at Molineux, in a one off league game

What I will acknowledge is how well-drilled they were in defence. In theory it's easy to just string nine men in staggered positions across the edge of your box - which is exactly what they did - but it's another thing to all move as a unit and shuffle across into the right position, especially against a team like Barca.

Mourinho does that brilliantly but so does Rafa. In that sense they're no different.

Rafa is the master at it. I know we've been all over the shop this season but in a defensive sense it's an absolute anomaly. Rafa's trademark is being amazingly well organised, as if he has the players responding to his remote control, as someone once said.

But yeah they defended brilliantly tonight against the best footballing team on the planet. No arguments with that at all.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'm 31 later this year and my memory of following Liverpool (not necessarily going to the games) stretches back close to 25 years now.

I thought you were mid 20's. oops. Don't know why i came to that conclusion though, i suppose you just build up a mental picture of people on the web without realising.
