For all talk of Maureen been some tactical genuis and all the plaudits he'll get from a sycophantic press they're only through due to a very offside goal and a disgraceful referee decision to dis-allow a goal.

You'll have to be mad to attack this Barca team.
I have to agree, if we had beaten Barca 3-1 at Anfield, I think you would have seen a replica of that.
C'mon you've beaten them by a brilliant scoreline at home, you've EARNED the right to see out the second leg any way you see fit.
Then of course they went to 10 men.

If that had have been us, Carra would have parked everyone on the 18 yard line, and issued death threats to anyone who ventured an inch from it

Busquets cheated when he got Motta sent off. It was blatant play acting, and if it wasn't for that, Inter wouldn't have been with 10 men for most of the game.

Not buying this anti-football thing spouted. You sit back, let the other side attack you, and if they manage two shots on goal all game, then they really don't deserve it. I love this Barca team, but they got outplayed over two legs. Mourinho had a big part in it, credit to him and his team.

We're talking about an arrogant ignorant ****, who lies about refs having meetings with opponents, insults clubs with regularity, sets his sides up as a team of divers, cheats in every way he can, and lies with it, like the Barca player just said now on Radio, he has no class..he says he learn't nothing from Bobby Robson while at Barca...that's they type of man he is...no class.

To be honest I thought he did well with his selection and tactics in the first game but I fail to see what credit he deserves for 'setting his team up perfectly' for this game. I'm sure there were toddlers who could have devised the cunning plan of 5 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, two hard working forwards and a single creative midfielder.

He is a very good manager and anyone who doubts he is talented is clearly biased or mental. He does however play on some of the worst aspects of the modern game and would probably struggle to be as effective if referees were told to clamp down properly on cynical tactics - diving, time wasting etc.

You can say what you want about how defensive we have been at times in Europe but we have never behaved in the manner that Mourinho teams do as standard.

You have to respect him but I will never like him.

Whats the problem with Mourinho then?

He has an arrogance that pisses people off but he has great tactical awareness.

If we won the title or the CL with him in charge what would happen??

Can't argue with that but they cheated and timewasted from the first minute tonight. It's incredibly ugly.

The loss of Motta made a negligible difference. Nothing changed. They played the same way with ten men as they did with eleven. Had they had 15 men Mourinho would've employed the same tactics. Fair enougn, they had a lead and it gets him results. But they've gone through courtesy of a ridiculously disallowed goal.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
